As usual, St. Patrick’s Day will be celebrated in style this year by the locals and the Irish community in Pattaya. If you want to join the festival activities, perhaps with a pint of Guinness or two, we’re sure you’ll find a great party atmosphere in any of the local Irish bars and pubs.
Or even better – how about putting on some green costume and joining the sixth annual St. Patrick’s Day parade along Pattaya Beach Road on Thursday, March 17?
Tourists and locals (not only the Irish) are invited to join the popular event which will kick off at 3.30 p.m. with various stage performances outside the Alcazar cabaret theatre on Second Road in North Pattaya.
The parade is due to start at 4.30 p.m., head down Soi 4 and proceed all the way down Pattaya Beach Road before turning left at the entrance to Walking Street. It will return along Second Road and come to a stop at the Alcazar theatre by 6 p.m., where further entertainment and a charity “lucky draw” will be awaiting the public.
