On Tuesday, March 17, tourists, locals and the Irish community in Pattaya celebrated St. Patrick’s Day not only with the usual pint of Guinness or two in one of the many Irish pubs around town but with a colourful parade all the way through North and South Pattaya.
The fifth annual St. Patrick’s Day parade started at 3 p.m. from the front of the Alcazar cabaret theatre on Pattaya Second Road, then moved down Soi 4 and continued all the way down Pattaya Beach Road to the entrance of Walking Street before turning left and coming to a stop at the public school at the Pattaya Tai/Second Road intersection.
