Two British nationals were caught shoplifting at a Family Mart convenience store on Soi Buakhao in the early hours of Friday.
The two foreigners were arrested after a staff member had become suspicious when the men spent 15 minutes just walking around in the store and eventually only bought a pack of Mama instant noodles. The shopkeeper called the police after watching CCTV footage which appeared to show the two men steal items from the shop shelves.

When police arrived on the scene and searched the two small-time criminals they found “mobile phone chargers, deodorant spray, cologne, toothbrushes and chocolates” hidden in their underwear.
According to Pattaya One, the two British nationals were identified as Joseph Hyde, 41, and Alan Loss, 43. They were arrested, charged with theft, and most likely face deportation and blacklisting.
